North Country Transfer Station
North Country Disposal owns and operates a fully-licensed waste transfer station in Negaunee Township. The transfer station is open Monday through Friday and accepts various materials for disposal and recycling from Do It Yourselfers and contractors. Use of our location is ideal for those who have a large quantity of material that is too great for their curbside service, but not big enough to require the rental of one of our dumpsters. Our Transfer Station is the cleanest disposal area/dump you'll ever see! We even help unload all your stuff too. Stop in today, we're here to help!!

Mon-Thu: 8:00am - 3:45pm
Friday: 8:00am - 2:45pm
Material Accepted:
- General Debris – Clothes, furniture, appliances, etc…
- Yard Waste – Trees, brush, leaves, etc… (organic material)
- Heavies – Dirt, concrete, brick, etc… (must be clean and free of debris)
- Construction Debris – Wood, drywall, shingles, etc…
- Tires – Passenger car vehicle/Truck
